Herman P. Willis, better know as Hank Williams, was the first super star of country music. Many of his songs became classics country wedding music and are still sung by numerous artists today. Hank Williams turned country music upside down country wedding music and tore down its borders which is why he is still a major inspiration for the alternative country movements of the present day.
